    Chuck,
Your thoughts as they always do make us stop and reassess not only our perspective but those around us.

I so agree with your thoughts on this article!! We even as we age can continue to learn. When I was 55 I decided to prove to myself that I could learn as I worried of losing memory if I didn’t challenge myself. I decided to pick up guitar and by teaching myself to play helped me to realize that I’m never too old to explore and experience new challenges. Keeping myself active and involved has kept me well physically, mentally and spiritually! So I guess I could say this old dog continues to learn new tricks!! Thank you for your article!! It is inspiring as always!!

Your writing is timely for me. When I began my Masters degree at 55, many individuals asked me “Why?”. My response was “Why not?” Change is so rapid. With access to technology, opportunities for high quality learning is more accessible than ever. Although challenging and yes disorienting, I have gotten real satisfaction from challenging myself to take advantage. Yes, you can teach old dogs new tricks.

You old dog Chuck! What a great article! Full of good advice and wisdom, just like you! Hope all is well–Happy New Year! Would love to speak with you–would prefer to meet, but this covid thing keeps getting in the way. Perhaps when it is safe, we can break bread together. Miss seeing you at events! Here’s to a great year for all of us! Stay healthy.
